When director of nursing Rachael Ellis heard about Florence, she knew our simple solution would help her save time and money, and provide residents with outstanding care.

“At Enable Care, I make sure we stick to policies and procedures, deal with issues appropriately and maintain proper staffing levels. I also support nurses if they have any difficulties on shift, perform audits and create workable action plans," says Rachael.

“We work with unique residents who need one-to-one care, and we don’t recruit our own full time staff, so we use agencies a lot. Our parent company started using Florence and found it great, and that’s why we started using Florence too.”

How Florence differs from an agency

“The main difference between Florence and a traditional agency is the online platform,” explains Rachael. “Florence is very easy to use.”

“My main concern before switching to Florence was continuity of care,” she continues. “Our old agency knew us well, so they sent us the same workers for consistency.”
